On reading the thread about sailing procedures an incident came to mind of signing off a Bluey in the early 70s. Can't remember if it was the Autolycus or Atreus. On return from a far east voyage to Amsterdam the whole crew were given around a couple of hours notice that we were to be relieved in the locks asthis was the only way we could catch the ferry to Harwich as it was Easter time and no other transport was available. Did anyone else ever experience this.
