A news item surfaced today, the RAN has paid for a couple of female officers to have breast augmentation surgery - see http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=270701

In the interests of equity, I'm going to forward my next "knob extension email" directly to the RAN.

Apparently the operation costs $10,000 - they could have had mine for 5 G's.

Never ceases to amaze me just how much people will pay for
this type of surgery. Unless it is for purely cosmetic reasons
as far as disfigurement is concerned, I can see no reason for
these operations, when those who desperately need surgery
cannot get it unless they wait for an age, or have to mortgage
their lives away to pay for it. Why cannot people be
satisfied with the body they have been given? As if it matters
what size any part of the physical anatomy is. What matters
is how we are and how we are towards others. All is Vanity.
