Can anyone please supply some personal reminisces, recount some experiences, of the (circa 1984-1986), River class Minesweepers?
There are some excellent photos of these “tidy” looking boats on,

Whilst technically competent, none of the above links give an idea of what kind of boat they were to serve in; their sea-keeping characteristics; in-service performance/reliability; etc.
