Looking for info concerning BHANDRA who i beleive was owned by BI Ship Co
this Ship is mentioned on my G/father BERTRAM KING Marriage/Cert 1912, would be grateful for any ideas Thanks B.Wilton-King

Hello Redbert:
I can't find a BI Ship named 'Bhandra'.
There was a 'Bandra', but she was not in service until 1914.

My records show that there was an earlier BI owned Bhadra, built by Russell & Co, Port Glasgow in 1897 for D Macneill & Co od Calcutta, but she was a small vessel (599 grt) for River Hooghly service and is unlikely to have had marriage services conducted on board.
