Were you at South Shields Maritime College before you went to sea with Ellermans?

I was with George Armstrong on the City of Perth in 1964/65. It was
his first trip as Chief Engineer. Can't remember the seconds name
(first name was Eddie and he was from South Shields) but the third
was a real character from Crewe called Frankie Christmas.
