Hi Guys, (Wave)

Here is a ferry with a history --- was once Free Enterprise III then served the IOM Steam Packet and then plied her trade in the Red Sea.

Built in Holland in 1966 for Townsend Brothers Ferries, subsequently Townsend Thoresen. Sold 1984 to Malta but joined IOM Steam packet the same year as Monas Isle, with extra accomadation added. 1986 sold to Sadaka Shipping, Egypt and became Al Fahad.

Sank off Jeddah. This photo taken March 2004 by Christophe Paumier.

Remember her well. Used to sail on her to
IOM for the TT races.

Walked her deck a couple of times across the Channel. Should have a photo of her in her original guise.

Interested in this ferry " Europafergen" from Norway. Found pictures in internet. Perhaps from Christopher Paumier. Any more pictures from aboard?
