City of Paris, Biscay emergency, circa1950

15th February 2008, 19:46
Caught in a violent storm, Cape bound, had port passenger loading doors stove in and took in water which flooded down lift shaft and ran several decks down, along corridors, bibbies and in many cabins. Had water lapping at my cabin door threshold. Full muster station emergency. Stood down after an agonising and tense time. Massive credit to the carpenters who saved the day working furiously. Were you there? Do you have any information please?
