According to the news report in N.Z. this morning, the wreck found was of the KORMORAN - they were still looking for SYDNEY, it said. Whichever ship they found, it was about 150km west of Shark Bay, apparently.

fromally Royal Navy Aircraft Carrier HMS Terrible
aptly named
Australia acquired this ship in 1948
the year I was born
I joined the ship in 1967
I was only 19
