Just a few words of introduction, I served on the Devon, New Westminster an d Cardiff City serving my apprenticeship mostly under 1st Mate Griff - Jones. Though it was probably one of the most enjoyable times I have had it was not for me and I ended up in the Army. This by the way is all back in the 60s so yeah I am a bit long in the tooth (whats left of them).

Welcome to the crew, Naegwl.
Way back in the 60s is fine for our type of nostalgia.
Find your way around the ship, join in and enjoy the trip.

Naegwl, from Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia.
Hell, some of us have a little mileage on us, but there's life in us yet.
Good to have you onboard.

Hi and welcome.
check out the Reardon Smith thread for some of the old names. A few pics of the older ships about as well. Happy memories to you. My gallery has some of the later bulkers and the old cardiff.
