Hello from NZ, I sailed on British ships from 1954 to1964. I was on the Liverpool pool, seemed to spend a lot of time in West Africa. I was born in Aberystwyth. Still keep in touch with old shipmates.

Do you remember me, Alec Sheldon. I sailed with you on the "Astyanax" in 1954/55 when you were deck boy. Big Jake Cleary was bosun. I was in touch with you about five years ago when you were writing a book and sent you some photos from "Astyanax" days.
