Thank you to all those who replied. I am compiling my life at sea, and would like photos of any of the following:BARONS' WEMYSS, 1962 GARIOCH, 1962 MINTO, 1962 KINNAIRD, 1961 PENTLAND, 1960 RENFREW 1957.

If any of you have sailed on any of these ships I would like to hear from you, might even have a yarn, just as we would in some ones cabin while aboard.

Regards Alex
Now in South Australia

HiABBrodie.
Sailed on the Baron Kinnaird in 1967 as 1st Mate
Was on the Baron Pentland when she was sold to Greek owners.
Alas don't have any photographs but their memory in etched in my heart but not for romantic reasons.

I never sailed the Baron Line myself but I think I can imagine what Capt Bill is getting at. They were not an outfit for the romantics.

There is a site called British Merchant navy.
They have a few pictures of "Baron" boats and the Kinnaird " was one of a series.
Think they show Baron Wyemms?" but they all looked the same
