Hello from a newbie -albeit quite old

My name is Francis Baudoux
I never actually was a true seaman, despite several trips on civilian tankers (Fina Canada, Bjorgholm) back in the late fifties and later on a few ships of the Belgian Navy (a few mine sweepers and mainly the TNA Kamina)
I dont see many pictures of these ships on the gallery and will try to upload some.

I prefer to think of myself as "mature"!

Some of our members are "very mature".

Don't worry we've all ages here and you'll be made very welcome.

Hello from West Yorkshire!

Welcome aboard from northern England, Francis.
There are quite a few "Oldies but goodies" among the crew so join in.
Find your way around the ship and enjoy the voyage.

From Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia from another Oldie.
I think you'll enjoy what you find on our site, although, a warning. To some, it does become habit forming.
It's good to have you onboard.

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it.
Would appreciate any photos of the Kamina if she is the troopship. I spent some time on her as a Royal Marine on excercise doing an assault landing into Germany. Great trip and the crew made us very welcome.
Is she the ship that took the Belgian soldiers to Korea?
