Hello there, I'm a landlubber in need of help. I'm trying to find out which ship my father travelled from Durban to Australia on at the end of 1929. He returned to South Africa on the SS Themistocles June 1930. I will have other queries in time (eg which passenger ship Durban to Suez 1938, Aquitania 1940's UK to USA, trials in Bahamas 1940's etc) so if any of you are experts on the historical side of things or can suggest where I go to find out then please throw me a life-belt! Thanks, Lucy

Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire, Lucy.
I see you've had some help from the crew already.
You just have to ask the question and someone on the ship will know or point you in the right direction.
Enjoy the voyage.
