Came across this in The Times, the obituary of Mr. Richard Woodget (http://tinyurl.com/4yvh3g), captain of the Cutty Sark, who died on the 6th of March, 1928, at Burnham Overy, Norfolk, at the age of 82.

Following publication of the obituary, several letters appeared discussing the statement in the obituary that "no other sailing ship beat her records." In response to these, a Mr. R. L. Andrewes, of Eynsham, who said he had served on the Cutty Sark under Captain Woodget, sent in this letter (http://tinyurl.com/6y77lu).

regards,
