Hi Shipmates,
I was in Port Line in the 1960s as an engineer. Came ashore in 1968 and worked in power stations, fertilizer works and pulp mills. Now retired.
Cheers, Russ watson.

Russ, your history look some what like my history, except for the fertilizer works, and my paper/pulp time was on electrical distribution and safety. I went to sea in 61 and still a kiwi resident. Have been a member and fan of SN for a few years

Welcome to the crew, Russ.
Quite a few ex-Portline aboard including me but I was late 68 on the Townsville.
Find your way around the ship and enjoy the trip.
