Welcome aboard from northern England.
I've moved your post into the Hello forum for a better welcome to the crew.
Find your way around the ship and enjoy the trip.

I sailed as OS and EDH in the late 1940s on the Baron Douglas, Capt Dougie Wilson was Master and Arthur Pollock was CO, I will leave ti your imagination as to what he was usually called. Both voyages I was on board were to the Med and both voyages we ran out of food. Today she would more aptly be named Baron Weightwatcher.

Worked on BB 1961-2. No complaint about food as it was all down to the cook and he did well. Bad thing was filling fresh water tanks in Panama Canal and Peace cigarettes in the bond. Ken.

From Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia.
Good to have you onboard.
It's good to see that you're already hearing from ex Hogarth men.
