Hi everyone. Just found this site. At sea as Marconi R/O in late 1960s. served on Loch Gowan, Caltex Bristol/Texaco Rochester, Hindustan, Port Invercargill.
Would love to hear from old shipmates, Norwood Tech colleagues, GBLA members (second wave). Is Bernie Smith, who used to hail from Tewksbury out there?

Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire.
There are so many of us in the crew now that we have a radio room to hide away in.
No watches just good QSOs and nostalgia.
Explore the ship, join in and enjoy the trip.

Dicky, from Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia.
Chances are you'll run into old shipmates on SN and, fortunately, there are are many other Sparkies as members.

Dicky,

I sailed with Marconi (East Ham Depot), then IMRC and finally CP Ships in the late 60s to mid 70s. Got my ticket at Barking College of Tech.

Have you joined the Radio Officer's Association? If not, this is an absolute must! Send me a PM if you can't find it.

Best regards,

Dave Ellis.
