Howdy all out there!
New to the site as from yesterday, still finding my way round.
I'm an ex Esso engineer, from 1967 to 1970 then a couple of trips with SAF marine. Then followed a thirty year stint on the oil rig supply vessels, mainly North Sea, but also North & West Africa. (Tunisia & Cameroons). I took voluntary redundancy in 2004, thought 30 yrs was long enough in the North Sea!!
Since then, I've worked on the river Tees dredgers, but had to give that up in 2006, as my wife was diagnosed with cancer. (she died last year)
Now I have a great job as a maintenance person at our local hospice!
Cheers!
