Hello. First time on this site. Can anyone please provide any info on ship called Naess Texas, a liquid sulpher tanker, owned by J and J Denholm of Glasgow. I served aboard her in the sixties. Any photos of this or other Denholm ships of this era appreciated. FastFree.

I sailed on the sister ship Naess Louisiana as A/B from March 69 / June 69 .18 hrs in Rotterdam & 18 hrs in Beaumont or Port Sulphur ,but we had 2 bars onboard open 24/7 The capt was J Maxwell & later Capt Cormack

Sailed on her when she became Nordic Louisiana, did one run from drydock to Fort Sulpher and back to Rotterdam, that was enough. janathull.

I was her Chief Engineer from end 1968 till end 1970. She was laid up in Beaumont Texas in the late 80's and scrapped early 90's.
