Hi everybody,

I am hoping someone might be able to help me. I am looking for photos of the British Sovereign tanker, think it was built around 1950.

Any information would be really appreciated.

Many thanks

Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire, Terry.
Plenty of BP lads in the crew who can help when they see this.
You may find something yourself once you find your way around the ship.
Enjoy the voyage.

Hi Terry.

Try this for a start http://www.shipsnostalgia.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=7417

Once you learn the ropes there's plenty to be found in the galleries.

Welcome aboard from soggy West Yorkshire!

With a bit of luck I may have managed to attach a photo taken in 1960 when I was a junior Engineer on her. I think it was possibly taken at Umm Said.

She was a great ship, good crew,I very much enjoyed my time aboard.
