I would like to say hello to everyone
as I have just joined.I confess to being a landlubber but have enjoyed watching ships since I was five.It took another ten years to recognise hulls and funnels etc...I have a collection of my own negs from the London docks circa 60"s and
am now collecting slides.
I do have some vessels that I would like identified . Best Wishes to all.

Sorry for the error in loggin in to the "Capt" of the site.
Must have been the sea mist in my eyes.
I took my monicker from a Thames tug that I saw as a kid
back in 1955.It was built in 1878 and I never thought I would hear of it again until I bought "British Steam Tugs"
and there it was! a full colour line drawing.
Monet and Vincent were both in London during its lifetime.
This made me wonder if they could have seen it ?
Best Wishes . Scorcher.(Cloud)
