Hi every body,

I m a french mate on supply vessels.
I would like to know if somebody can help me because i m preparing something about the progress which we have had regarding the building and the using of AHTS vessels,
I mean especially about hull, machine used on deck ( shark jaws, towing pins, winches) and other new machines like SAHS.

Thanks for your help

Regards

French Mate.

I wrote an article which is in the directory on the history of the Ulstein UT704's - the AHTS - which might help? You will find it at:

Sharks Jaw was a marvellous innovation after having used the 'Pelican Hook'
which was often dangerous for those on deck.
