Very new to this site so give me time to find my way around, My father served on the Hains Tresillian which sank in 1954 and i have been trying to locate any survivors still out there, I have found four survivors up to now and in 2004 after 50 years since she sank i arranged a meet for my father and a fellow survivor.

Andy, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia.
It won't take too long for you to negotiate the site with ease.
Take all the time you need and enjoy the voyage through our forums and galleries.
Perhaps you'll have word of a survivor, or even survivors, from our members.

Hi Andy. I am a Tresillian survivor and must have known your father, but there were 2 Clarks, which one was he?

We can talk further by direct email if you like. I am in New Zealand, 12 hours ahead (and 10 years behind!!!)

Hi,

So sorry for a very late reply, My dad Trevor Clark was a cadet and Jack Clark who was a chief steward but sadly died recently. Please email me to let me know you have received this.

Kind Regards
Andy
