Delighted to read tales of the Luminetta. I recall being taken to Sweden when she was being built and I spent numerous school holidays in various dry docks visiting Dad (C/E Ian May). Many names mentioned are familiar to me. Dad now in his 80's but would love to hear of old shipmates.

Best wishes, Teacher

Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire, Teacher.
I'm sure someone in the crew who remembers your father will be in touch.
Explore the ship, join in and enjoy the voyage.

Teacher, a welcome from North Yorkshire.
Give my regards to Ian, I sailed with him on and off late '70s and through the '80s. I recall the brass scales he made one trip, and the golden wheelkey he was presented with at his retirement do in Durban. He was also quite a demon at deck tennis, I was always on the winning side if I played with Ian and not against him.

From Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia.
Make yourself at home and join in our friendly discussions.
Chances, I would think, are good that you'll hear from old shipmates of your Father before long.
