Hi Everyone,
My Name is Graham Chalmers and I just found and joined this site. I sailed on S.S. Mantua, S.S. Ardshiel, S.S. Irfon and S.S. Ottawa all belonging to P.& O. Bulk Shipping from !970 to 1973 as a 5th and then 4th enginner. I was onboard the Ardshiel at the time Noel Mostert gathered some information for writing his book Supertanker. I would love to hear from some of the charactors I sailed with during this time.

Hi Graham,
Trust things are well all these years on? We sailed in Ottawa together and had some pretty good sessions as I recall... Now semi retired and living in Portishead (nothing to do with the radio station though). Keep in touch, I'm sure I have some embarrassing photo's I must put in the gallery sometime.
