Scanning glass slides

I bought some 'magic lantern' glass slides back in the 1960's of the Mediterranean Fleet c.1908 in Malta. I'd love to be able scan these and see the subject matter in more detail. They are positive images in black and white and double thickness ie.one plate with the image and a plain sheet of glass taped to it. Any suggestions? Jo

There is a thread in this forum about that very subject, Jo
If you search on the word "slide" you'll get some good results.
The first requisite is a good slide scanner.
I use an Epson.
All these were scanned form glass slides

(Thumb) I'm off to look for an Epson now. Your images are amazing. Thanks, Jo x
