Anyone got a pic of wm France Fenwick collier Moorwood
I first visited her around 1946/47 cannot find pic anywhere believe she ended up on the Lakes

Hello Arthur I have just noticed your request. Here is a photo from Ian Allan Coastal Ships (1954) Not very clear but it is her.
MOORWOOD blt 1945 2034 tgr. Blt Austin-Wear Dock.
Sold 1960 to Stephenson Clarke renamed HORSTED. Hulked in Holland 11-66.

Just found these details from W.S.S. booklet on Stephenson Clarke;
HORSTED
T3-cyl by North Eastern Marine Eng, Sunderland, Completed by S.P.Austin and Son Ltd, Sunderland as MOORWOOD for Wm France Fenwick ,London.
1960- Sold to S.Clarke ren. HORSTED
11-1966- Sold to Metaalhandel en Sloopwerken, H.P.. Heuvelman,Krimpen, a/d Yssel and after removal of engines etc resold to Boele and Osterwijk
for use as a sand barge om inland waterways.
