Zooming Photos

Does anyone know how to set up photos for zooming. Have noticed on here and elsewhere on web, photos which have a small box in bottom RH corner containing green arrows in NSEW positions . Clicking on these increase the size of pic, reclicking restores to normal size. Been trying to find out how this is done with little success and was hoping someone could throw some light on the subject

This is most likely a feature of the browser you are using or the site that is presenting the picture you are looking at. Not something you can do with the photo itself and this feature is not available on the sofware used by SN to host the site or its components.

You will probably need a small program called a magnifier.
My keyboard (Logitech) has zoom buttons down the left side. Microsoft keyboard/ mouse allows you to do it with a mouse button.
There is a Powertoy for Windows XP that allows you to magnify part of the screen.
If your go to this page on the Microsoft site you'll find it near the bottom of the page.

Thanks for your replies looks as if its the browser (BT/yahoo version of IE)
but will give power toy suggested a go.
On this site I notice the little gadget with the green NSEW arrows appears only when clicking on the thumbnail pics, pic opens up with gadget in bottom RH corner and then a left click increases pic size by abt 50%
This seems to apply with all pic thumbnails posted as attachments incl MS pics of SAIT HQ in thread Whilst he had his feet up etc post 1
Thanks again for your help
cheers

My mouse has a magnifier built in .Yo also have a function in windows programes call accesibility You also have your control in the bottom right magnify you can go right up to 400% but there is nothing on forum programes to allow you to do so .the actual size of what you see is determined by what the sender does (either resizing what he sends or even making it smaller

"Tip" !!! If you are using up to date Internet Explorer or Firefox, you can get a 'quick' zoom by holding down the "Ctrl" button & rotate the mouse wheel forward & vice versa to zoom out. (Thumb)

Sort of...that's just increasing and decreasing the font size. Firefox 3 does now have a page zoom function though, as internet explorer 7 did, but it's hidden away in the view menu.

Firefox has had a PAGE zoom function for longer than IE. The clue is in "page zoom". If you have the 'LATEST' versions of Firefox or IE you will find (to your utter amazement) that the whole PAGE zooms & NOT just the font. Now, if you look in the 'View' tab in Firefox that it gives you the option of Zoom in, Zoom out , Reset & Zoom text only. IF you dont have a wheel mouse, you can use Ctrl ++ to zoom in , or ctrl +- to zoom out.... This ZOOMS the whole page & not just the text. If you happen to have a 'pixture' on that page, then , guess......the pixture zooms also !!!
Suck it & see,,,....Always works for me !!(Eat)

In IE7 in the bottom right hand corner there is a magnifying (?) glass and if you click on the little black triangle to the right of it you can set the zoom.
