Whenever I try posting photos I'm told "too big" or words to that effect. Is there some (free) software available that'll help me to downsize my pics? Thanks in advance ;-)

Most of the common Artwork programes allow you to alter the size it usually comes under Save as and there will be a slider for higher or lowest quality.

Paintshop, adobe Photoshop, lightroom all have the option.
