Does anybody have a photo of the City of Peterborough. She was renamed the Castilian. Later she was sold to the Maldives where she was again renamed as the Maldive Freedom.
Best regards. Gino

Very many thank's Bruce, this is an awsome sight. Not just 1 photograph of a particular ship but sometimes half a dozen or more. Found exactly what I was looking for. Cheers (Thumb)
Best regards. Gino

In 1965 I was 4th engineer in the Castilian. On Mediteranean trips she was called that but on far eastern trips- Borneo, Thailand, she became the City of Peterborough, although the stamp in my discharge book is still the Castilian. There is a picture of her as the Castilian on this website. She had a triple expansion with exhaust turbine engine. A beautiful engine but out of date when she was built.
