In IE go to Internet Options and then Security then Restricted Sites and copy the URL into the 'slot'.
The pop-up doesn't return.

You guys should use the Mozilla Firefox browser http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/
with the 'add-on' "No Script". https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722
Works for me everytime.(Thumb)
You can 'allow' the page without allowing the advertising, takes a bit of getting used to. All you see is the blank spaces where the ad's are & NO popups at all.

I've tried your suggestion. Let's hope it works driving me nuts.
Thanks

The code that causes the pop-ups to appear has definitely been removed. The only thing that I can think of is that your browser is caching the code - you may like to try clearing your browser's cache by holding CTRL whilst pressing F5 - forcing your browser to 'fetch' the latest version of the page.
Let me know if that helps.

I've tried the "ctrl f5" and everything else to no avail.
It's been here since the new forum wallpaper.
PLEASE GET RID OF THE DAMN THING

Aye McG,
It is during those odd periods of memory lapse that I rely on you youngsters to remind me why I became an SN Supporter.
As you say, I'm way to old to be bothered by pop-ups, but the memory lingers on.[=P]
