This may have been on here already but the National Geographic Channel (Sky 526 in the UK) are showing a series about 'breaking up the biggest....'
There is one eposode on at the moment about a Russian shipyard breaking up a Typhoon Class Soviet SSBN, the biggest sub ever built.
Interesting stuff. Although only built in 1986, she had obviously been laid up for a long time. She was so big there was enough room for a swimming pool onboard.
