The preserved 'Rothesay' Class frigate HMS PLYMOUTH, is seen here at Plantation Quay, Glasgow. She now rests as a Museum Ship in Liverpool.

After being on display at Plymouth, Glasgow and Birkenhead, it looks like she may now be looking for a new home.

David.
Sorry it has taken such a long time to reply to your query, but there has been nothing of note worth reporting since you asked, so I would like to take this opportunity to pass on some good news.
After very nearly 5 years of trying, it is hoped that HMS Plymouth could now be on her way to a new berth.

Lets hope this happens, good to see reading the report that she is still in good shape internally. A new lick of paint and she will look a proud ship again

Interested to know where in Cornwall she ends up. Why Plymouth politicians can be so uncaring, is beyond me.

Hopefully this happens and the permanent preservation in good order goes some way to rectifying the UK's deplorable record of preserving a realistic amount of her maritime heritage
