THE Famine replica ship, the Jeanie Johnston, is lying idle in port and will not operate any sailings for the rest of the year.
The €15m ship, which was built as part of a millennium project in Blennerville, Co Kerry, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the famine, will not be sailing this summer because its owner has not yet found a new operator for the vessel. ...cont../..
