Wounded Waverley casts off its anchor as summer sailings resume

THE Waverley paddle steamer has resumed Clyde sailings after it was damaged berthing at Dunoon.

Repairs to the decking and ladies toilet were carried out swiftly so that passengers would not be disappointed.

Even so the charity which runs the world's last sea-going paddle steamer said it had lost many thousands of pounds by cancelled sailings. ...cont../..
