I was saddened to hear belatedly, via this site, that Tommy Fulton had 'crossed the bar' during the 1970/80 years. I sailed with Tom on the "Suevic", in 1955 he was 2nd Engineer then, if you look at post/thread of Suevic there is a photograph of us together.

I am fairly sure Tommy was C/E on Northern Star when I was on board in 73/4?

I first sailed with Tommy on the Northern Star 73/74, then later on the Medic in 77. Very nice guy. I've attached a photo of a few of us with Tommy, (Far right with his daughter, Steph.) This was on one of the Aussie cruises after Captains Cockers held on every cruise.

Tommy was Chief on Southern Cross ~ on my first trip to sea with Shaw Savill ~ being a fellow Scot ~ he rescued me from over indulgence when I was running a Scottish disco on the sun deck square ~ Hogmanay Party 31st Dec 1967 whilst berthed at Papeete. It was supposed to be hot disco music but turned into a ceildih when i produced my collection of Scottish LP's !! Long story short ~ Tommy was a life saver and became a good friend to a young purser! Good morning, please excuse me for breaking into this thread which is a memoriam for Tommy -I am trying to find information on a distant relative who served on Shaw Saville and tried to use the url address above but it takes me to a site selling shopping vouchers!
Can anyone give me the correct url?
Many thanks - Kincaid444
