A replica Great Lakes trading ship is back open for business, and in Northern Michigan today.
A replica of the "Welcome" docked for a short time in Mackinaw City Thursday. Crews built the original "Welcome" at Michilamackinac in the 1700's. It used to sail through the Straits of Mackinac.
