This large trailing suction hopper dredger was built by Verolme in Heusden (Holland) back in 1998.
Owner: Boskalis, Papendrecht.
GRT: 22,689 overall length 173 metres, hopper capacity over 23,000 cubic metre.
Operating with two huge suction pipes on each side and can go to depth of 100 metres.
Currently operating in Melbourne, but will move to the Middle East second week of October.

The second photo is a shot from the bow and where you can clearly see the skyline of Melbourne.
The large building in the centre is Eureka Towers which is nearing completion at the 93rd level and which is claimed to be the tallest residential building in the world.
