Hi can anyone please help me establish which Arawa it was that may have made this voyage, and any more details please? My grandfather and his family were onboard. I'm guessing it was the one built in 1906. thanks

Arawa (!) was torpedoed in 1915. Arawa (2) was completed in 1906 at Swan Hunters Wallsend. She had accommodation for 220 passengers and 80 crew. She was sold in 1928 to Arnold Bernstein and renamed Konigstein. She was torpedoed by U135 in 1942 as the Belgian Gandia. Hope this answers your query?

thanks. Yeah it gets confusing with so many ships named after their predecessors! Trying to find the details of one particular journey. All I know is that it was the Arawa from Liverpool to Auckland in 1927, so I guessed it would be the second that was in operation then, but havn't been able to confirm it or any further details.
