Has anyone further information on the small fleet of colliers owned by the above company circa 1920/1930.
I have come across two, WESTERN VALLEYS O/N 136157 and CROSSHANDS 136148 grateful for any info. on any other vessels.

CROSSHANDS (1925 - 1927)
O.N. 136148. 716g. 324n. 190.0 x 29.2 x 11.3 feet.
T.3-cyl. (16", 26" & 44" x 30") engine made by the shipbuilder. 105 NHP, 121 RHP, 700 IHP.
1917: Keel laid as ISLANDMAGEE by A. Jeffrey & Company Ltd., Alloa (Yard No. 20), for Howden Bros., (W. J. R. Harbinson, manager) Larne, but contract was subsequently sold to Cleeves' Western Valleys Anthracite Collieries Ltd., (V. M. Williams, manager), Swansea.

1917: Launched as CROSSHANDS.

2.1918: Completed.

15.10.1925: Purchased by John Kelly Ltd., (Wm. Clint, manager).

24.5.1927: Sold to Wilson & Reid Ltd., (Sir T. S. Wilson, manager), Belfast.

4.12.1930: Wm. Reid, Belfast appointed as manager.

2.1.1931: Sold to John S. Monks Ltd., Liverpool, (by Ulster Bank Ltd., mortgagees in possession).

20.1.1931: Renamed SEAVILLE.

20.11.1951: Whilst on a voyage from Douglas to Liverpool with general cargo, collided with the dredging hopper Mersey No.30 (892g./1923) near the Q15 buoy in the Queen's Channel, R. Mersey, and sank.

T.3-cyl. engine manufactured by Plenty & Son Ltd., Newbury.

3.1918: Completed, as TIRYDAIL, by C.H.Walker & Company , Sudbrook, Chepstow, (Yard No.231), for Cleeves' Western Valleys Anthracite Collieries Ltd., (T.D. John, manager), Cardiff.

1920: V.M.Williams appointed as manager.

1926: Sold to F.T.Everard & Sons Ltd., London.

1946: Purchased by the Williamstown Shipping Company Ltd., (Comben Longstaff & Company Ltd., managers), London, and renamed LINCOLNBROOK.

1947: Sold to Duff, Herbert & Mitchell Ltd., (O.T. Williams, manager), and renamed JOSEPH MITCHELL.

1948: Removed from management.

2.1950: Sold to unspecified buyers who intended to rename LADY CAROLINE.

8.2.1950: Struck submerged rocks off Ballycotton, Cobh, and sank. Only six feet of her mainmast was visible at high water. She had been on a voyage from Garston to Cobh, with coal.
