Hi everyone. New member here. Just reading "On the Wind of a Dream" by Commander Victor Clark, the account of his round the world adventure on the Solace. Does anyone know if the Solace is still sailing?

Thankyou for all your warm wishes! I have now finished the book "On the Wind of a Dream" - a great tale of an epic five year circumnavigation in the late fifties. I can thoroughly recommend it (if you can find a copy). The author, Commander Victor Clark passed away a few years ago, but a google search located his young West Indian shipmate, Stanley Mathurin who must now be in his seventies, as the managing director of Coloured Fin Ltd in Trinidad. I would still love to know what became of their ship Solace...
