Coastal Tankers: "Amin" and "Ameer"

Two small tankers were serviced in the Ayr Shipyard in the late 40s or early 50s. They had quite clearly come from eastern service and I seem to recall that they had lascar crews on arrival. Does anyone know the fate of these two ships?
Shell seems to come to mind.

22.9.1944: Launched as EMPIRE TROTWOOD by the Grangemouth Dockyard Company Ltd., Grangemouth (Yard No. 455), for the Ministry of War Transport, (F. T. Everard & Sons Ltd., managers).
5.1944: Completed.
1946: Anglo – Saxon Petroleum Company Ltd., appointed as managers.
1947: Sold to the Kuwait Oil Company Ltd., and renamed AMIR.
1952: Sold to Shell-Mex & B.P. Ltd., and renamed B.P. DISTRIBUTOR.
5.1965: Sold for demolition at Willebroek.
31.5.1965: Scrappingco S. A., commenced work.

22.6.1943: Completed.
1946: Owners restyled Ministry of Transport.
1947: Sold to Coastal Tankers Ltd.
1948: Sold to The Kuwait Oil Company Ltd., London, and renamed AMIN.
1952: Purchased by Shell-Mex & B.P. Ltd., and renamed SHELL FITTER.
1964: Sold to Dionyssios I. Philippopoulos, Greece, and renamed ALIKI.
1967: Sold to Naftiki Idrotiki, (C. Vernicos, manager), Greece.
1968: Sold to Marine Water Supply Company Ltd., Greece.
10.9.1969: Kavership commenced demolition at Perama.

Many thanks for your response. My recollections that somehow Shell was involved was correct!
You can imagine that in a small country town like Ayr, a lascar crew was something you didn't see every day!

One point to note is the interconnection of owners at that time.

Anglo Persian Oil Co (BP) owned 50% of Kuwait Oil Company
They also owned 50% of Shell Mex & BP with Shell the other 50%.

Obviously the transfer of ships among the companies was more of an internal reorganization! The 'Mex" part was originally an Andrew Weir operation as the British-Mexican Petroleum Company but was nationalized in the 1930s by the Mexican government. I wonder what the 'Mex' represented within Shell Mex BP? You seem to know something of these corporate organizations!

The corporate knowledge comes from 15 years research for a book on BP Tankers that was published about 4 years ago.
