I am researching my Grandfather, Charles Jackson, who was apprenticed in 1890 and died at Fryston House, Grimsby in 1957.
I have tried all sorts of sites to find out any more information about his life on the ocean waves, to no avail. Making a trip to TNA to look up WW1 activity, is not an option at this stage. He was with RNR T in WW1.
Are there online lists of Grimsby Skippers and their trawlers?
Any help would be most appreciated.
