Just introducing myself, theres no family connections with the sea,I did my time in a barge yard in greenwich and became familiar with Thames tugs. That was about 45yrs ago and i still love em. kindest regards welderman

Got taught my ship repair welding by two 'Cockney' welders at the Unitor base down in the 'Smoke'. Two 1st class lads. They gave lots of confidence to this engine fitter(Jester)
