Hello all,
now living in Somerset I was born in Unst and raised in Lerwick Shetland, my interest is mainly in WW2 ships sunk around the islands by U-boats. I have written a small book about one, the SS Vistula and have researched some others, I have some photographs pertaining to artefacts from the Sea Venture, Swaindby and Polzella, if anyone is interested. Have also researched HMY Verona from WW1, on which my grand uncle perished. Plus the few ships my grandfather (up to 1918), and 4 uncles sailed on, in the 30's 40's and 50's.
