Hi my name is Bernard, Im an ex British seaman now living in Tasmania,
my intrests are in shipping, mainly passenger ships from the turn of the century, IE Titanic etc. to the present day.
I served on only 2 passenger liners myself, the remainder being cargo and oil tankers, but my fondest memories would be on P&O's Canberra, where i had the fortune to join her in Belfast prior to her maiden voyage, then spent 2 very happy years with her.

Enjoy your time on SN and join in our friendly discussions.
