Hi Alan,
fine artwork, my father was a Petty Officer Stoker on board her. He joined her in the builders Camel Lairds 10th Jan 1941, he did engine trials and started her historic one year. He was on board when she first took on the Bismarck. He left her on 13th Oct 1941 just a few weeks before she was sunk.
Sadly dads no longer with us but thanks to artists like you we still remember.
