This is a 3 dvd set of the 2006 documentary commissioned for STV.
Whilst the description is slightly exagerated, it is none the less a very enjoyable 2.5 hour viewing time. It is especially interesting to see how the cadet training has changed over the years since I was at sea in the 70's. Funny bit with Eng Cadet looking for "spare funnel" locker aboard a passenger liner {makes a change from the Golden Rivet which I had to look for!}. Very interesting part about Panama Canal and also an eye opener to see how much Singapore has changed over the years. I bought my copy from Amazon for £7.50 inc delivery just before Xmas although prices vary. When I was looking for it I found copies being advertised for £16!! Pays to shop around as usual. Welcome addition to my DVD collection.
