With IMR now. Joined for 6 week trip to hand over to French; turned out to be 6 months later !. Capt was guy called Forbes (from Londonderry). Good skipper. Nice ship too.

July 1969 woke up to find the Murex had berthed behind us during the night in Las Palmas. Incredible sight at the time - really good looking vessel - made us look like a tug!

I bet. When you were on it you didn't think your were moving until you looked over the side.
