It has just come to my attention that David Dunnett died last year. Cause of death as yet unknown.
David finished up in Houlder Offshore where I am sure many of you Ex North Sea Tigers came across him.
Another one gone from a dwindling band.

Dave and i worked together for two years on the Kingsnorth Dundee ,a true gent,and great work mate.RIP

Very sad to hear of Dave,s passing, our paths crossed several times over the years both deep-sea and offshore. An excellent cook and all round good guy.

As good as Dave was as a cook all the catering was of the highest standard.
There is no doubt in my mind the catering in Houlder/KMD was the finest anywhere in the offshore sector I believe a combination of fine cooks/stwds and good onshore and offshore management made it what it was.

Dave collapsed and died at home and was found to have had bowel cancer.
He will be sadly missed. Dave Cheeseman

So sad to hear of Daves death.Sailed with him as his 2nd cook and worked with him offshore.He loved his football,and we had many a discussion on the topic.Top bloke,who was fantastic with me always.R.I.P Dave
